Mark Marano is actively acquiring apartment buildings in select neighborhoods of Chicago's North Side. He focuses on desirable multi-family properties in areas with a romantic appeal, such as those within a short walking distance of corner cafes, dining, near downtown, the lakefront, and easily accessible by public transportation. Areas where Mark is currently seeking demand real estate include (but are not limited to) Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Lincoln Square, Logan Square, and Andersonville.
Anyone who provides Mark with information of someone selling a property that matches his criteria will be generously compensated for their consultation, provided he closes on the property. Generous as in it will probably be the most one will ever earn for a few minutes worth of conversation, unless one is part of Mark's team earning six figures or more.

Mark is always interested in building relationships with anyone who desires to invest in real estate though has no experience nor interest in managing the project. Mark Marano's future plans include the architectural design, funding, and development of high rise skyscrapers. These buildings will be created with the utmost elegance, luxury, and class, utilizing the latest innovations and technologies, while maintaining environmentally-friendly green standards. The buildings will be located in ideal locations in the heart of major metropolitan cities. In the commercial and mixed use buildings, a combined restaurant lounge will occupy the topmost floor and roof. Having dabbled in art himself, Mark appreciates creativity and recognizes the importance of freedom to express one's creativity without limitations. His future plans include the creation of art centers that will allow artists to live a creative life without the typical struggles artists often encounter. Several programs will become a part of the art centers, including technical workshops, classes, artist residencies, studio/living space, gallery space, common areas for works in progress, and programs in which artists can volunteer in related fields in exchange for supplies and studio space. Artists will be taught common and alternate ways to create an income in the arts, and a program will be offered where artists can focus solely on creating their artwork by contributing their work to the gallery to be on their behalf, in exchange for supplies, studio/living space, meals, and/or a stipend. Artists will be able to live freely and create 100% of their time if they choose, without having to worry about having a job or running the business side of their art in order to support themselves.
Mark Marano also envisions an adventurous lifestyle for himself, filled with travel, excitement, discovery, and learning. He will begin his adventures in the air in The Dream Machine, a powered parachute, and then move on to get his pilot's license. His summer home will be a luxury condo in a high rise in the heart of Chicago, filled with floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony, and one of the most spectacular views one can find in the city. His winter home will be in south Florida on the beach with equally spectacular views and relaxed atmospheres. He will retreat to his Hawaiian home for months every year. His car of choice will be a Porsche Targa where he will enjoy driving it just as much as being driven in it, with the open feeling provided by the nearly entirely glass roof.
